Almost 10 years ago, JJ and I were in New York, working on the distribution of Red Feline on the Cross, living in a basement in Long Island City, near the East River and Socrates Park. It was a temporary arrangement, soon we were going to be moving out. It was then that we were playing with some ideas for a new project.

JJ mentioned that it would be good to make something with the Inquisition as a theme. It was still early to begin thinking about a new project. RFPIX was just beginning and we didn't know what would happen with it. Red Feline on the Cross was getting out there. It was a slow process, and we had just created RFPIX and our built website.

Still, the idea was there, on the table, it was a matter of time before it became a a project.

I went to France for a visit, with the promise of returning in a few weeks. We moved a few days before my trip to a room in Jackson Heights, it was also a temporary arrangement, we would begin looking for a permanent place because it was becoming clear that we JJ was going to stay in NY for a long while.

When I returned from France it was already spring and RFPIX was doing well. It was exciting.

I brought the news that Gabrielle was interested in working with us. JJ was happy to hear that and the Inquistion project began to take shape. All we needed was a new home.

RFPIX was beginning to make an impact in the world of S&M. We were receiving the praises for our first production, Red Feline on the Cross, so it was obvious that we were not going to stay there, that we were going to go on, that we were going to bring more productions to supply the demand that we just created.

JJ decided that we were going to work on a subject near to his heart, the Spanish Inquisition. Having been educated by Jesuits, and having spent the first part of his school days in the company of nuns, he had a great source of stories. And so, we created the story of Red Feline and the Inquisition.
