JJ's
recollection of Camille's first time under
the whip continues |
I was concentrating
on Camille's body. The camera was set
to capture from her neck to her knees,
I wanted to see her body language under
these circumstances. Not everyone reacts
the same way and I wanted to see her
reaction. When I first brought Rossie
to this room, she was stiff, shy, self-consciouss.
It took four of five sessions before
Rossie could relax and let herself go
a bit. Even then, she was still self-consciouss.
What I was finding in Camille is that
she was very expressive from the first
moment. Her body moved under the rod
as it should.
She was comfortable with herself and
with me, which was better than excellet. |

I moved around her, to
get to as many sides of her body as
possible. Trying not to block with camera's
view with my body. The place is small,
so there wasn't much room to manouver,
which made me think that we were going
to have a hard time working with a full
crew in here. This was, after all, the
location for that escene.
We are going to have a bigger camera,
bigger tripod, lights, a gaffer, the
director of photography, myself and
probably the make up person. The room
was very small. I had to think about
that. |

I hit her again, she
tensed her belly, her legs, making her
body seem taller, making her breasts
bigger. I was having a hard time resisting
the urge to go to the camera and to
see how she looked at this moment. When
I worked in this type of escenario with
Margot, I was fascinated with the results.
We used this camera, a couple of lights,
and that was it.
When I saw the results, long after
we did that, one particular escene was
very similar to one escene of a Christopher
Lee movie, except that in that movie
the heroine wasn't naked, like Margot,
and she wasn't as beautiful either.
I have to say that I was very proud
of that modest shot that accomplished
more than what Hammer House did with
a Zero budget. |

| I was liking Camille,
of course, that was not a surprise to
anyone, not to Margot, not to me, not
to the entire acting trouppe, not even
to Camille. We were connecting. But
from that to make my move, there was
still a long stretch. I wasn't even
sure if I would make any move. She was
young, very young, much younger than
me and not all young women are attracted
to men who could be their father.
Margot is a lot younger than me, but
not as young. One young boy made the
comment once that I could be Margot's
father's younger friend. He would say,
in the case of Camilly, that I could
be her father.
I'm sure that everyone would frown
upon this relationship if it ever became
one.
