The Training of Camille - Session 2

The time came to explore Camille. I left the rod aside and took the camera. Camille as the object of desire? The Camera as an extension of my eyes, the tape as a way to preserve the moment. To make it better than a fading memory. An image to last years and years. I turned the lens to Camille's body, to her breasts, to her face.

I explored every inch of Camille, her expression, her movement, the lines of her face, the texture of her skin. It was my second time working like this with her, not knowing if I would have more opportunities to repeat the experience. I had to explore her.

I was becoming familiar with her form. I found that to do justice when portraying someone, one must know the person very well. A photographer must know what light and in what position will create the portrait, the perfect portrait of that person. So, by exploring Camille's body through the lens, I was going to learn how she would look the best. Not a hard thing to do since the camera seemed to love her.
