Camille erased any doubts when
she said "why not?". I felt comfortable
with her, as I felt with Margot and MaRe and
even Rosie after she got over her initial
shame. MaRe felt shame, she later confessed,
but she was too overwhelmed by the feelings
of joy and fulfillment to let some shame get
in the way of her happiness. Rosie, in the
other hand, never repeated the experience,
but came to accept that there was nothing
shameful about her body. |

Camille, in the other hand,
alwasy felt comfortable with herself, there
was no sense of shame or guilt. Being naked
for her was as normal as being dressed.
I concluded that it was her French upbringing
and her generation. And there was only a
sense of playfulness in that moment when
I grabbed her body.

|
I pulled Camille over to me,
holding her body against mine. Knowing that
she was going to be in my arms before the
night was over, knowing that something had
begun. She pressed her leg against mine, letting
me know that she was ready as I was.
