The Training of Camille - Session 2 - Page 24

From Camille's face to Camille's feet, to Camille's breasts, to Camille's wrists, the camera loved every inch of her. I placed The Mark on her forehead. I did it to benefit Camille's performance, to give her an idea of what she was going to go through during the shoot.

There was beauty in her suffering. The same beauty I found in religious art, the kind that portrays the suffering of martyrs. There's something mesmerizing in the suffering of a martyr. Perhaps because artists portray suffering as a sublime form of expression. The body suffers so the soul can trascend the earth and enter paradise. The glorification of death.

Camille, very much alive, is the glorification of life. The sublimation of the body in pain and carries in her the exuberance of youth. I feel her youth, her energy and I feel as if was drinking from the fountain of youth. We have a rapport which I'm happy to say, it is not one sided. I think she likes me too. How much? that's what I have to find out.
