We are in Firenze, it's so beautiful!, art is alive here, the sculptures are the inhabitants of the city, the people are the visitors, I can breath history in the air, from the walls.

There is a sculpture about the Rape of the Sabines. I can feel the drama in them, but I can also see the beauty. Isn't that what art is all about? A beautiful representation of a slice of life?

The almost mythological artists that created theses works, like Michelangelo, displayed the beauty of the human body without shame at a time when everything was seen as the work of the devil.

There's a clock in the center of the Piazza in Firenze. It tells the time of the moment. But the Piazza itself has not time, the city itself is timeless. I stand here and I feel that I'm beyond time and space. I'm here and Michelangelo is here.

I see his passion and his work. I appreciate his vision and I understand the need to express a vision, whatever that vision is.
