May 4th
We stopped in
Nice, just for a few hours, before we
went to Cannes.
In Nice we went to
the beach .... there was sun ... it's
been cloudy lately and a bit cold but
in Nice it was nice, spring is here,
slowly, still a bit windy and cold but
not as cold as when we did the shooting
in the forest, then I was cold and naked.
JJ says that I looked blue. He has plans
for another session with the camera.
He's training me still.
We sat to
watch the water, I love the sea and
I love the sun.
We kissed while
we were sitting there, on the rocks,
this beach doesn't have sand, it has
pebbles instead.
When we kissed
I felt this tremendous love for him.
And I felt how much he was loving
me back. |

JJ
turned the camera on to shoot this moment,
he said that this moment should live forever.
I took my jacket
off, I wanted to feel the cool breeze
on my body and the warming rays of the
sun as well. |
 |
|
I screamed to the top
of my lungs "I love the sun!!!", then
I felt like a sun worshiper.
I can understand very
well why so many civilizations like the
Mayas and the Incas had the sun as the
center of their traditions.
The life giving
sun. Some call the sun Father.
I raised my top
to feel the breeze on my skin, I was a
bit embarrassed, we were not alone.

JJ sat the camera on the stones
and came to me. I jumped to his neck
and embraced him. I'm so grateful
for everything he means to me. The
freedom, the love, the passion, the art...I
felt so much love for him and he was so
tender. |

Now
I'm sitting at a cafe in Cannes, waiting
for JJ to bring me a cafe au lait and
a croissant before we go back to the station
to take the train to Paris.
Today was a sad
day for JJ. He just found out that
Graham Greene, the writer, died. JJ met
him in Cannes some years back and they
had a few drinks in his house in Antibe.
They talked politics, Haiti, Torrijos,
JJ's film about Haiti... Papa Doc, voodoo
... sometimes I feel like JJ has so much
to teach me and I fear that I cant' learn
all of that.
Now we must
go to Paris, beautiful Paris.
